  • Computer and Network Support Technician Program

    The Computer and Network Support Technician Program is a three part program. Part 1: Microsoft Office: This program is designed to provide the students with Beginning to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Part 2: A+ Comprehensive: The student will be taught the skills necessary to assemble, repair, troubleshoot, and configure a computer. The student will teardown and re-build a fully functional, state of the art computer. Part 3: Net+ Networking Fundamentals: Provides students with the fundamentals of networking by giving them hands-on training in networking skills and concepts that affect many aspects of networking. Students will cover such topics as: basic networking, protocols, network devices, TCP/IP architecture, internet addressing, routing, servers, remote connectivity, user management, network security, encryption and firewalls, as well as troubleshooting and diagnostic tools. The Network+ course is widely accepted as the prerequisite course for Cisco CCNA and Microsoft Certifications. We also include interactive computer lab hours in this program, to further support the learning experience. Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to successfully function within the Microsoft Office suite, assemble, repair or upgrade computer hardware, install software and set-up or troubleshoot networks.

  • Computerized Office Support Program

    The Computerized Office Support Program is designed to provide students with beginning to advanced knowledge of all the Microsoft Office applications, with an intro to design and graphics. The training provided in this program, will help students prepare for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Exams. As a MOS trained professional, they will be able to maintain, manage and format spreadsheets, create professional slide shows, manage email, manage a database environment, with forms and tables, and create or edit documents. In the modern office, many clerical tasks must be performed in order to keep things running smoothly. Office workers perform a variety of different tasks in support of general office, business, or administrative operations. To further advance the students knowledge, and prepare them for this computer environment, we are also instructing on the basics of visual communications, preparing students to create in-house flyers and marketing collateral. This provides students with the knowledge and skills to maintain and assist in creating graphics and marketing materials for businesses or individuals alike. Learning this information, will enhance the student’s skillset and make them well-rounded assets.     The MIS Network Administrator Program was developed for the student to prepare for the certification tests necessary to become a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). We have also included computer labs to further support the student’s learning experience. In the MIS Network Administrator program, the student is taught the skills to work in a cross platform or mixed Windows server environment. Upon completion of this program, students will have obtained the skills necessary to implement, deploy, manage, maintain and provision a Windows Server Infrastructure, with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V services. Additionally, instruction is provided on supporting, installing, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems. Students gain the skills necessary to design, develop, implement, and manage/configure network services using Windows technologies.   • Graphic Web Designer Program

    The Graphic Web Designer program will focus on building proficiency in Internet Web Design to prepare students in basic internet business fundamentals, graphics fundamentals, and HTML fundamentals. Graphic design fundamentals will prepare students to be tested in their abilities in design methodology and visual communication. Throughout the program, we further strengthen student’s web and graphics skills by providing comprehensive training in the following courses: Windows, HTML, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Flash. To round out the student’s knowledge, we apply the basics in visual communications to aid the student in assisting with creating graphics and marketing collateral for businesses or individuals alike. This balanced training program, covers premier industry certification preparation for Certified Medical Administrative Assistant, a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist, and the highly sought after Certified Professional Coder. Students will have the knowledge to work within a medical office and update medical records using current coding standards.
