Military Programs Available
New Horizons has designed programs built specifically for the MyCAA and GI Bill programs to benefit qualified participants that prepare students for a new or returning career in the IT and healthcare industries.
Funding for training is available through the military for those who qualify! Eligible military spouses qualify for up to $4,000 for New Horizons’ training programs. Funding through the GI Bill will vary depending upon the service member’s program and status. Please contact your local VA representative for further information.
These programs are designed around the current and future needs of these industries and all lead to the premier industry certifications. From vendors such as the National Healthcare Association, Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA.

We Provide Job Placement Assistance
We understand the purpose for your training is to secure a position in your new career field. We offer a job placement assistance program to help you in that process.
From resume and interview workshops, to mock interviews, we work with students to help them know what to expect in a job search process and help them market their newly acquired skills and certifications.

The GI Bill programs are designed for current or former military personnel that qualify for education and training benefits. To determine your specific benefits, contact your local Veterans Administration office and/or representative.
GI Bill Programs include:
- MIS Network Administrator
The MIS Network Administrator Program prepares students with the skills necessary to design, develop, implement and manage either a Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN) enterprise network using Windows technologies. The Department of Defense (DoD) provides financial assistance to military spouses to pay for certifications and education in high-growth, high-demand portable fields at no cost through the MyCAA program.
- IT Systems Administrator
In the IT Systems Administrator program, students gain advanced knowledge personal computers as well as Windows Server; understanding the essential concepts and components of networking; and MS Server Administration courses that introduce WAN and LAN networks.
- Computer Netwrk Support Technician
The CNST program is a three part program designed to provide the students with advanced knowledge of all Microsoft applications; the skills necessary to assemble, repair and configure a computer; and the fundamentals of networking: protocols, routing, servers, remote connectivity and network security.
- Healthcare Information
The Healthcare Information Program teaches students healthcare skills and knowledge and covers information necessary to prepare for premier industry certification for Coding, Billing and Insurance, and Microsoft Office computer technologies.
- Medical Office Assistant
The Medical Office Assistant Program teaches students skills and knowledge to preapre them for work in a medical office. The student will receive up-to-date training in Medical bill processing including procedural coding. Medical insurance claim processing will be a program focus.
- Graphic Web Design
The Graphic Web Designer Program builds proficiency in Internet Web Design to prepare students in advanced internet business fundamentals, and HTML fundamentals.
Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA)
The Department of Defense (DoD) provides financial assistance to military spouses to pay for certifications and education in high-growth, high-demand portable fields at no cost through the MyCAA program.

The DoD will provide $4,000 in financial assistance to military spouses of Active Duty and activated Guard and Reserve service members through Career Advancement Accounts. This program is administered by
Military OneSource. New Horizons is an approved MyCAA school by Military OneSource; all of our spouse programs are 100% covered by MyCAA funds.
For military spouses who are interested in pursuing such careers, this is a FREE benefit. It is a proven fact that the more training and education job seekers have, the more likely they will be hired into better jobs at higher salaries.
- MyCAA Computer Network and Support Technician
Students will obtain advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, assemble, repair and troubleshoot computers, as wells as the fundamentals of networking.
- MyCAA Computerized Office Support
Students will obtain advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office Applications.
- MyCAA Graphic Web Design
Students will obtain the basic internet business fundamentals and basics of graphis design.
- MyCAA Medical Office Assistant
Students will obtain training that covers medical terms, general office practices and premier industry certification preparation for insurance billing and coding.
